Company Story

Mike Kerrys initially started the company in 2001 after buying his own blinds from IKEA. The blinds weren’t the right size for his windows, so he had to cut them down to measure himself. Cutting the blinds to fit his windows didn’t go particularly well. This inspired Mike to start looking into made-to-measure blind companies. 

Within less than 12 months, Mike started buying blinds from other companies. However, he wasn’t happy with the quality of the blinds and components. This experience spurred him on to manufacture his own products. Determined to offer domestic, retail, and trade clients the very best products and services, Mike created a company that would cater to every stage of the customer journey from start to finish: i.e. consultation, on-site measurement, manufacturing of the blinds and components, professional installation of the blinds. The foundation of what Kerrys Blinds is today was born. 

A quarter of a century later, we are still thriving and very much a family-orientated and close-knit business. Consistent success has led to the expansion of the business and the hiring of more staff. Our UK showroom and factory is on the Manvers Business Estate near to Dearne Valley College. 

To provide a high quality bespoke blind service to the customer in an easy, efficient and hassle free service for them.
